‘Twas the Write Before Christmas {2011 Day 3}

Welcome to Day Three of ‘Twas the Write Before Christmas!

Photobucket

Are you feeling stretched? {If yes, that’s great! Wonderful creations come from feeling a little push.}

Are you still stuck on Day Two’s prompt? {If so, move on and see what inspiration comes from today’s prompt.}

For those who are just joining us, don’t worry about the first two days; feel free to jump right in today. Don’t forget the linky will be open until the end of the month.

We know you’re busy. We know the holidays might feel crammed full of things to be done. We know — because that’s how our lives are, too. And if you’re anything like us, you might be wishing for a small respite, right about now.

Something that’s just for you.

Let today be the day you stop and create something! Share your story — give your gifts — in the form of ANYTHING! Do you associate a certain memory with today’s prompt? Are you moved to write a poem or story? Does the prompt encourage you to draw or paint? Are you itching to bake something or photograph something or craft something? Let the prompt lead you where it will. We can’t wait see, read, and share in the magic of your season!

Day Three Prompt:

Remember, go wherever the song takes you — whether you’ve been captured by a few words, a certain line or maybe even just the fact that the prompt is in song form … wherever your mind goes, follow it! Happy creating!

As always, try to visit a few other people who are participating; encouragement and support means so much to a creative heart.

{Also, if you’re tweeting, we’re using the hashtag #BPBWrites.}
