Reading Circles – Reminder: Going LIVE

Hi everyone! As I’m in transit while this post is due to go up, I’m going to just use this opportunity to send out a reminder about our Reading Circles Goes LIVE sessions.

We’ll read Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn and share our observations on just how the author made the book worth reading. What tricks and tips can we uncover about how she hooked us, how she compelled us to keep reading, how she revealed important things about her characters and setting, and how she handled dialogue, etc.?

Here are the details:

When: November 13, 8:00 p.m. CST

Where: In the comfort of your own home, via Google+ hangout

Who: Me and a group of 4-6 other book lovers

Why: Because reading is awesome

We are about at capacity, but we might have room for one more person if anyone else wants to join in.

But wait, there’s more!

I’m offering a SECOND Reading Circles goes LIVE session – via live chat!

This gives us the opportunity to try out a couple of different formats and see what works better for future. And we still get to discuss the runner up:

The Tenth Circle, by Jodi Picoult.

Here are the details:

When: Tuesday, December 4, 8 p.m. CST

Where: via a live chat room, details TBA

Who: Me and everyone and anyone

Why: Didn’t I mention reading is what all the cool kids do?

How: I will create a live chat room and post the login information here approximately one hour before we meet so anyone will be free to join in. Please leave a comment if you think you might join, so I can get a sense of how many people will participate.

Can’t wait to see you all there! Happy weekend everyone!
