Bigger Picture Captures

I am  from last week’s pool of shots by Brook

Often just like writing, inspiration for a photo comes immediate and you simply must capture the moment. Other times picture taking is less inspired.

In the spirit of creativity that is being nourished here on this site and in your hearts, we’re bringing back Bigger Picture Captures.

Each Wednesday a thought, a word, or a moment will be shared and you will have the opportunity to capture the creativity with your lens and share it.

No need to worry about blogging it (unless you want to of course) or linking it up. All you have to do is Tweet it, facebook it, or Instagram it.

We know that a lot of you are participating in the P365 or P52 challenges. This is  a little more creative inspiration to get your camera out and take a picture of something different.

Use #BPCaptures anywhere you are collecting your pictures, and get ready to CREATE!

Today’s prompt is Motherhood

As you know, Mother’s day is just around the corner. How are you celebrating motherhood? Are you spending more time with your children, reveling in every day miracles? Are you preparing for a full day to appreciate your very own mama? What do you think is motherhood’s greatest gift to this world? How do you define being a mother?

There is all kind of mothering and no one way is wrong as long as it is done with a full heart and lots of compassion.

And there are redefinitions of what women can accomplish both as mothers and partners in this life that we live. How would you capture that?

Motherhood is such a large topic to cover. And there are so many ways in which you can “picture” it.

Motherhood… How will YOU interpret it today? I can’t wait to see.

  1. AWESOME!!! I loved this shot after I took it, because it was right after my workout and I could barely hold that puny weight anymore. Looking forward to today’s and what everyone else will capture.
