Out and About with BPB

Photo Credit: Alita Jewel Photography

Just last week we were relishing in the sun and warmth of spring. Today many of us woke up to snow, seems winter wasn’t ready to leave yet.

Catch up with our writers from last week:

Melissa wrote about new a call for new transplant regulations that would allow HIV Positive donors to donate organs to HIV positive patients.

Registration for Creativity Boot Camp opens today. Hyacynth and Alita  will be some of the guest instructors.

Sarah tackled gardening with kids for the Joplin Globe.

Melissa weighed in on the principal that baned homemade lunch on Technorati’s Women channel.

Bigger Picture Captures {week 1}

There is so much beauty and hidden in everyday situations. Just like in our Bigger Picture Moment of the week; there are times we just take simple things for granted like being able to cook our own meal, taking a long bath, sleeping in a real soft bed,  feeling the sun warming our body, watching our children grow, bowing our heads and praising our Lord in public or breathing in the fresh air of the world.

So this week’s Bigger Picture Captures prompt for flickr is to show  a piece of your everyday life. It can be a picture about what you are grateful about; holding your child´s hand, kissing the person you love, drinking a hot cup of coffee or a soothing bubble bath …. You can also show us some of your everyday chores, mundane routines that guide you and complete you as a wife, a mother or as an artist.

The only rule is you need to include yourself in the photo.

I’m so excited to see what you come up with via our brand new flickr group {anyone and everyone is welcome to join}

And don’t forget that your picture may be highlighted here on this space, with a link back to you of course! Let’s get capturing. 🙂
