‘Twas the Write Before Christmas: Day 2

Welcome to Day Two of ‘Twas the Write Before Christmas!

If this is your first time here, here’s a little recap of what we’re doing. {Feel free to jump right in to today’s prompt or try out the Day One, if you’d like!}

We know you’re busy. We know the holidays might feel crammed full of things to be done. We know — because that’s how our lives are, too. And if you’re anything like us, you might be wishing for a small respite, right about now.

Something that’s just for you.

Let today be the day you stop and create something! Share your story — give your gifts — in the form of ANYTHING! Do you associate a certain memory with today’s prompt? Are you moved to write a poem or story? Does the prompt encourage you to draw or paint? Are you itching to bake something or photograph something or craft something? Let the prompt lead you where it will.

We can’t wait see, read, and share in the magic of your season!

The posts inspired by Day One’s prompts were so beautiful!

Did yesterday’s posts come easily or did you have to think about the picture and its caption for awhile before feeling inspired?

We’re looking forward to connecting again today. So without further ado … we give you day two.

  1. That prompt brings me back to memories that I would NEVER post. Well not unless there was some serious cash involved anyway. =)

  2. WeaselMomma — there IS a pretty awesome giveaway involved (check here: https://biggerpictureblogs.wordpress.com/2010/11/30/writebeforechristmas/)
    …and now you’ve piqued my nosy curiosity!

  3. Mine, too, Weasal Momma! Mine, too! Do share?

  4. Wow, I am definitely going to have to try this. It is a great idea!

  5. I haven’t got around to looking at everyone else’s yet as I just found out about this today , so glad to be participating! The beautiful scene yesterday had me thinking of a few things .
