Bigger Picture Captures

Language from last week’s pool of shots by Melissa

Often just like writing, inspiration for a photo comes immediate and you simply must capture the moment. Other times picture taking is less inspired.

In the spirit of creativity that is being nourished here on this site and in your hearts, we’re bringing back Bigger Picture Captures.

Each Wednesday a thought, a word, or a moment will be shared and you will have the opportunity to capture the creativity with your lens and share it.

No need to worry about blogging it (unless you want to of course) or linking it up. All you have to do is Tweet it, facebook it, or Instagram it.

We know that a lot of you are participating in the P365 or P52 challenges. This is  a little more creative inspiration to get your camera out and take a picture of something different.

Use #BPCaptures anywhere you are collecting your pictures, and get ready to CREATE!

This week’s prompt is Challenge.

Every new day comes with different challenges. There may be something that comes easily to you that another person may struggle with due to age, personality or cognitive skill. Outcomes either good or bad can almost always be educational to the person that accepts the challenge.

Challenges can be small or large and they have different interpretations.

What challenges you? Is it something abstract like parenting or is it something that you are acquiring to learn like photography? Are you meeting road blocks with writing? Or do you write smoothly but need mentoring with shaping story lines?

Is there a goal that you have not reached that you are striving for? Is your challenge in social cues or is it in how you can relate to the world around you? Is your challenge concrete and manageable or does it feel as if  you are taking on the world with your task?

I want to know your challenges. We are not boiling pots simmering to the top of life’s frustrations; ready to explode with trepidation. We are open sleeves on the heart of humanity. Ever ready to accept the challenges before us so that we can  strive for a better day.

How will you interpret Challenge today? Capture it and share it, I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
