Written to our Hearts {26 April}

Every week we share the harvest of intentional living by sharing a simple moment that has touched us or that has pointed us to the bigger picture. These moments from last week were like letters written to our hearts:

“Maybe if I pause and regroup after those small (giant! cataclysmic!) failures, give myself a bit of grace, and move forward? Maybe then I will keep accumulating momentum and have some overall success taking my girls for a walk every day and being a sweet person or whatever else it is that I’m failing. Maybe the momentum will end up carrying more weight than the failure moments.” From Perfection, by Lucy at Queen Lucy the Valiant

“In tv land, moms are perfect.  Spotless houses, spotless children, spotless mom.  TV land tells moms that you should have a hot breakfast for your family every morning, there should be no stains on your children’s clothes and Lord have mercy if your children ever leave the house with dirt on their faces!  Your children should also behave perfectly at all times!”  From TV vs. Reality by Heidi at Crazy Daisy Momma

Be sure to come by This Heavenly Life tomorrow and link up your Simple Moment. It can be a photo, a poem, prose…anything that touched your heart and inspired you tee see beyond the sameness that can be everyday life. Be sure to include out button or a link back and you may see yourself here too.

Don’t forget the new Bigger Picture Captures! Add your photo of your everyday life. Show us the beauty in the simple everyday tasks, add it to our Flickr Pool (no need for a whole blog post, just share a picture!)

Live. Capture. Share. Encourage.
